About Natalie J. Graham

​

Natalie J. Graham is a native of Gainesville, Florida. Her first poetry collection, Begin with a Failed Body (University of Georgia Press, 2017), was selected by Kwame Dawes for the 2016 Cave Canem Poetry Prize. Her poems and articles have been published in San Francisco Chronicle, PEN America: A Journal for Writers and Readers, Callaloo, Obsidian, New England Review, Southern Humanities Review, The Journal of Popular Culture, and Transition. Her research interests include Black Music, Food Culture, and Black Identity Performance. She is a Cave Canem Fellow, Sewanee Fellow, and associate professor of African American Studies at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF).

About Tanya (Hyonhye) Ko Hong

Tanya (Hyonhye) Ko Hong is an internationally published poet, translator, and cultural-curator who champions bilingual poetry and poets. Born and raised in South Korea, she immigrated to the USA at the age of eighteen. She is the author of five books, includingThe War Still Within (KYSO Flash Press, 2019). Her poetry appears in Rattle, Beloit Poetry Journal, Entropy, Cultural Weekly, WSQ: Women’s Studies Quarterly (The Feminist Press), great weather for MEDIA, the Choson Ilbo, and The Korea Times, among others. She is pursuing a Ph.D. at Pacifica Graduate Institute and holds an MFA degree from Antioch University, Los Angeles.
