Operation Goodwill 2018 Launching MLK Weekend

Martin Luther King Jr.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SANTA ANA, CA, January 11, 2018 - For MLK Day Weekend, Youth-on-the-Move, Inc. and the Orange County Racial Justice Collaborative are hosting "Operation Goodwill 2018." Participants are encouraged to call 10-15 people throughout the weekend simply to ask, "How are you?" and spread goodwill in honor of Dr. King.

Anyone can be recipients of a call - family members, friends, old acquaintances - anyone who would enjoy hearing from you. You can even meet with folks in-person or visit your local senior center to talk to someone you haven't met before. You can keep track of everyone you speak with by using this form.

On Monday, January 15, you can drop by the Youth-on-the-Move headquarters (1850 17th St, #103, Santa Ana, CA 92705) between noon and 5:00 p.m. to share your experiences, talk about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy, or simply enjoy the company of others. All are welcome to attend.
